• Place submissions: Your name, email address, and the details of the place you submit (name, address, description, photos, and any other information you voluntarily provide in the submission form).
• Analytics: We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics uses cookies to identify returning visitors but does not collect personally identifiable information. You can opt out via our cookie consent banner.

We do not use tracking pixels, advertising networks, or behavioral profiling tools.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Newsletter emails are used solely to send you updates about YallahDenver. We do not use your email for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.
• Submission information is used for editorial review of submitted places. We may contact you at the email you provided if we have questions about your submission.
• Analytics data is used in aggregate to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate YallahDenver:

• Supabase — database and storage provider. Submission data, newsletter emails, and uploaded photos are stored on Supabase servers. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II compliant.
• Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, image optimization, and Turnstile CAPTCHA on submission forms. Cloudflare may process request metadata (IP address, user agent) for security purposes.
• Google Analytics — website analytics to understand how the site is used. Google Analytics uses cookies to identify returning visitors. No personally identifiable information is shared with Google. Google Privacy Policy.
• Resend — transactional email service used to send newsletter emails. Resend processes your email address in order to deliver messages.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party, including the services listed above. These providers process your data only as necessary to deliver their services to us.

4. Cookies

YallahDenver uses essential cookies necessary for core site functionality (for example, session management). We also use cookies set by Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site.

Google Analytics cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) are used to distinguish unique visitors and track session activity. These cookies expire after 2 years and 24 hours respectively. No personally identifiable information is stored in these cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking cookies for behavioral profiling, or third-party cookies beyond those listed above.

5. Data Retention

• Submission data is retained for as long as is needed for editorial review and ongoing site operation. If a submission is published, associated content may remain on the site indefinitely. Contact us to request removal.
• Newsletter email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
• Analytics data is aggregated and contains no personal information; it is retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights
